Weekly Update: Miro Smart Chip for Google Docs, Miro Academy Badges, Video Clipper, and more

Miro Academy Badges now appear on Miroverse profiles to showcase skills. A new Video Clipper app enables uploading videos, transcription generation, and clip creation on boards. Miro Smart Chip integration with Google Docs allows creating shortcuts and viewing details within Google Workspace. Accessibility improvements include color palette tooltips for color-blind users, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps integration enables activity monitoring and threat detection.

Miro Academy Badges in Miroverse Showcase your skills and accomplishments — Miroverse profiles now display Miro Academy Badges.  Clip and Transcribe Videos with the New Video Clipper App Upload videos, generate transcriptions, and create playable clips right on your Miro board with the new Video Clipper app. Find it on the Miro Marketplace. Miro Smart Chip for Google Docs Make Miro part of your Google Docs with smart chips. Use smart chips to create shortcuts to Miro in your docs, view details, request access, and save time when working across Miro and Google Workspace tools. Add Miro to Google Workspace. Accessibility: Color Palettes Show the Color Name in a Tooltip Color pickers provide a text description of the chosen color, to convey color information to color blind users as well as people with low or no vision. This information is exposed visually via a tooltip on hover (not yet on keyboard focus), and semantically via an accessibility name for screen reader users. Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps Integration Connecting Miro to Defender for Cloud Apps gives you improved insights into your users' activities and provides threat detection using machine learning based anomaly detections.
