Asana Release Notes January 2025
Asana released multiple product improvements across Personal, Basic, Advanced, Business, and Enterprise tiers for January 2025. Updates include Year in Asana recap feature, advanced onboarding flows, team pages, tab reordering, private custom fields, portfolio permissions, capacity planning views, iOS/Android mobile enhancements, and admin notification controls.

(Personal / Basic) Your Year in Asana: Celebrate everything you and your team accomplished by checking out your year in Asana.

(Enterprise) Multiple onboarding flows in custom onboarding: Create different onboarding experiences based on specific roles, departments, or needs within the same domain.

(Persona / Basic) Curated team pages: Improve team onboarding and ongoing collaboration with curated teams pages.

(Personal / Basic) Tab management improvement: Use your spacebar and arrow keys to reorder tabs in a project.

(Enterprise) Private custom fields: Keep custom fields and their values private so only explicitly named members can view or edit them.

(Enterprise) Edit restriction on custom field values: Protect sensitive data by controlling who can modify specific custom field values in a project.

(Enterprise) Portfolio advanced permissions: Restrict portfolio customization and sharing to admins only.

(Advanced / Business) Saved views for capacity planning and workload: Create a saved view to see what’s most relevant for you and your team.

(Enterprise): Transfer allocations from capacity plans: Bulk move all allocations in a project from one user to another.

(Enterprise) Admin credit usage notifications for AI Studio: Receive an email and in-product notification when your organization is reaching its credit usage limit.

(Personal / Basic) iOS multi-filter and multi-sort: Apply multiple filters and sorts to the same view in a project while using iOS.

(Starter / Premium) Android project summaries: Get a high-level overview of progress on a project with project smart summaries on mobile.
