Asana Release Notes February 2025
Asana released multiple feature updates across product tiers including cross-platform comment syncing, Microsoft Teams integrations, AI Studio enhancements, portfolio improvements, capacity planning tools, and enterprise-grade features like PowerPoint export and SAML group mapping.

- (Personal) Cross-platform syncing of draft comments in iOS: Sync draft comments between mobile and web to see your drafts across devices.
- (Personal) Inbox notifications in Microsoft Teams: Take action on Asana notifications directly in Microsoft Teams.
- (Personal) Project views in Microsoft Teams desktop app: Create shared visibility on the latest project progress without team members having to leave Microsoft Teams.
- (Starter) Smart chat in Microsoft Teams: Use Smart chat to surface insights and recommendations about your work directly in Microsoft Teams.
- (Starter) Microsoft Teams “Send Direct Message” rule action: Automatically send customized messages to individuals or groups in Microsoft Teams based on specific triggers in Asana.
- (Starter) Project work schedules: Set a working schedule for your project to manage Service Level Agreements (SLA) for requests.
- (Starter) Request tracking: Manage and track requests seamlessly, even from stakeholders without an Asana license.
- (Advanced) @mention teams in AI Studio: @mention teams of up to 50 people in AI Studio.
- (Advanced) AI Studio credit usage notification: Receive notifications when your domain is at 80% and 100% consumption of the usage limit for the paid AI Studio Standard plan.

- (Enterprise) Portfolio level capacity: See team capacity at a glance across all your projects.
- (Enterprise) Portfolio level capacity aggregation: View project statistics as a summary row at the top of capacity plan project tabs.
- (Enterprise) Goals PDF export: Keep stakeholders informed easily with a PDF export of your goal status.
- (Enterprise) Update job titles in capacity planning and workload views: Easily update job titles for better workload and capacity planning.
- (Enterprise) SAML group mapping: Scale org-only forms with SAML without extra licenses needed.
- (Enterprise) Custom field permissions on mobile: Control who can modify specific custom field values in a project on mobile.
